The video is being made. Until it arrives, here is what it will say (119 words, about 60 seconds):

Here's a beach at dusk. Thousands of starlings swirl together in one huge, twisting cloud, while on the sand a single heron stands alone.

Why so many together, when the heron is alone and doing fine?

Last week a storm flattened the dunes where the rabbits lived. But there's no rabbit to be seen tonight, so where did they go?

And in a month this beach will be frozen hard, and the starlings, the heron and the crabs under the sand will all have to cope somehow.

That's what this topic is about: who survives, together or alone, in which place, through the winter, and when a place changes.

Okay, so are you ready to find out who survives?
