Does Haley's arm bend at the elbow? Yes, it does.

The elbow is where the long bone of her upper arm meets the bones of her forearm.

Does her arm bend halfway along the forearm? No, it does not.

One long bone is there, and a bone does not bend.

A joint is a place where a leg bends. A joint is also the place where two bones meet.

So the elbow is a joint, and so is the wrist.

The arm from the side. The upper-arm bone meets the forearm bones at the elbow, and the elbow is a joint. Both muscles are letting go here.

Haley's arm bends at the elbow and at the wrist, where two bones meet, and not halfway along the forearm.

The bones of Haley's skeleton move at the joints.
